GaranKit Privacy Policy

GaranKit ("the app") helps Shopify merchants display the EU harmonised notice on the legal guarantee of conformity and the GARAN durability label.

What we store

• Shop session data. An access token for your store, required for the app to function. Deleted when you uninstall.
• App settings. Onboarding progress and the list of notice images uploaded to your store's Files are stored as metafields in your own Shopify store, not on our servers.
• Product guarantee settings. GARAN duration, brand, and model per product are stored as metafields on your own products, visible and editable in your Shopify admin.

What we do not store

We store no customer personal data of any kind. The app never reads, processes, or stores information about your customers.

Data requests and erasure

Because no customer data is stored, customer data requests return nothing and customer redaction requires no action. When a store is redacted after uninstall, we delete all remaining session records for that store.

Third parties

We share no data with third parties. Official notice images are hosted in your own store's Files (Shopify CDN). Links in the app point to official European Commission and Your Europe pages.
